A Cappella “Festival” January 17

Landaas & Company Investments, Rotary Club of Mitchell Field and South Milwaukee Music invite you to participate in the “A Cappella with Six Appeal” one-day festival featuring workshops for high school students followed by an evening concert. Students will learn about arranging, vocal percussion, and visual presentation with Six Appeal Vocal Band, an award-winning, professional, touring vocal band. The first few groups to register will get a spot on stage for the evening concert and everyone will be welcome to join the mass choir song. Read more

Bridging the Intergenerational Gap

Are kids becoming incapable of face-to-face interaction? Or, are adults just out of touch with how to engage the interest of kids? South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center (SMPAC) is hosting a three-day workshop between a dozen South Milwaukee High School students, a dozen South Milwaukee senior citizens, and seven young adults from ARENA Dances: The Main Street Project.
